Recording Update

We go into the studio a week from Saturday. The last rehearsal is this Sunday. I am anxious to get started and put down some tracks. The rehearsals have gone well and you’re gonna like the end product.

I had a bit of a delay getting the license to record the tunes. But we are on track now. It seems that “Stompin’ at the Savoy” has 25% ownership that is not licensed thru the Harry Fox Agency. So I had to track down the other owner to get permission. If we were doing an instrumental version it would have been 100% thru Harry Fox, but Michelle is singing that tune with us and the vocal version is different. She really does a great job with this tune, you’re gonna love it.

This has been a lot of work. I’m still working on the cover design and the credits. I’m trying to decide if we should have some t-shirts and/or caps made too. It might be nice, if there is any interest.

“It won’t be long now”, that’s what they said when they cut off the monkey’s tail.
