I’ve found a website
dedicated to promoting the music of the premier jazz
band of the United States Air Force, The Airmen of
Note. The site has links to over 48 years of great
jazz performed by the band. The songs are all free in
mp3 format and for a small fee, used to defer some of
the costs of running the site, you can get access to
CD quality versions of all the songs. Check it out!
These albums were given away at concerts and have
never been for sale, so unless you were luck enough
to get a copy you were out of luck. Enjoy...
Finale Notation Software

I use Finale Notation
software to create the written music on this site. I
am a long time user 10+ years and I am very satisfied
with the results. There is a bit of a learning curve,
but it is mainly due to not using the software often
enough. You forget how to do it. That being said, The
2009 version is the most intuitive that they have

instruction on the use of Finale. Offering Tips and
Hints on how to proceed. The lessons are offered at
the rate of $25.00/hour.

If you own a
Mac, (If you are smart, you do) then I highly
recommend using RapidWeaver to create your site. This
site was created with RapidWeaver and it’s so easy to
use and the results are great. They have many
templates available including dozens of add-ons and
extras available for purchase. The initial cost of
the software is very reasonable. It is so easy to
change the look and feel without losing any content.
