Ceremony
Prelude:
Music
usually begins about 15 minutes prior to the ceremony as
your guests are being seated.
Processional:
Processional
music is preformed as the bride and bridal party are
escorted down the aisle. Two separate songs should be
selected, one for the bridal party and one for the
bride.
Recessional:
Recessional
music begins once the bride and groom are
announced as husband and wife. The music will
continue until all guests have left the ceremony,
typically 10-15 minutes.
Incidental
Music: Incidental
music is entirely optional, but can be used for
a number of settings, during the lighting of the
unity candle, readings or as a concert
piece.
Suggested Groups: Brass
Quartet, Woodwind Trio or a Jazz Trio. Vocal and
instrumental soloists are also available with/or without
organ or piano accompaniment.
Reception
Cocktails/Dinner:
Background
music will be provided in which guests can comfortably
carry on a conversation.
Dance:
The
reception would be primarily dance music with a wide
variety of tempos and styles.
Suggested
Groups:
Brass
Quartet, Woodwind Trio, a Jazz Trio or Solo Piano
are suggested for cocktails and dinner. The Little Big
Band will provide a good variety of dance music for
the reception.

Click a link below for a printable sheet for song requests for the ceremony and/or the reception. Please don't feel that you have to fill up the page for the dance portion, our goal is to get the guests dancing.
